I will be using Simple Practice, a HIPAA-compliant medical records system developed for solo practitioners and small health/wellness practices.

When you've confirmed that you want to schedule an appointment, I'll gather demographic info from you, add you to my SimplePractice client roster, and provide a link for you to access your secure account.

In addition to using the SimplePractice portal, you'll still be able to contact me through text and email, but it's important to be aware that these modes of communication aren't protected by HIPAA due to security limitations. Of course, I will continue to keep these conversations confidential; email and text just aren't guaranteed confidential modes of communication.
